Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) pada mitra yaitu ibu-ibu Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) di desa Gunung Pasir Jaya Lampung Timur sebagai salah satu wujud pelaksanaan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dengan upaya memaksimalkan hasil kebun atau hasil tanaman Tomat untuk meningkatkan keterampilan, penghematan pengeluaran keluarga bahkan dapat meningkatkan penghasilan. Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) Gentiaras melaksanakan kegiatan PKM dengan tema pendampingan dan pelatihan pembuatan olahan Tomat sebagai peluang bisnis pada ibu-ibu Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) desa Gunung Pasir Jaya Lampung Timur pada 11 Juli 2022. PKM dilaksanakan menggunakan metode persiapan, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Pendampingan, Evaluasi dan Kesimpulan. Hasil capaian dari kegiatan PKM antara lain peserta mitra menunjukkan sikap sangat antusias, semangat dalam mengikuti kegiatan meski di tengah masa pandemic covid-19, peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan pengelolaan Tomat dan peluang bisnis, pelatihan pembuatan saos Tomat dan manisan Tomat dengan mempraktekan pada saat pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM
